Wonder if the LTower may have just had its first fatality this morning or last night. Appears to be a body covered with a tarp on the Esplanade at the foot of the building. Police have everything cordoned off. Quite shaken to see it this morning on my walk with the mutt.

Unless I missed it, there's something I'm not clear on. Is Scott Street being re done just beside the park or will it be finished right down to The Esplanade to match Market Street. If so, are those horrific double height shipping container dressing rooms beside the Sony Centre getting taken...

For the rest of us I think extra heavy long underwear would work.

Or .. Perhaps just really enjoy the many quiet hours of solitude and reflection and getting away from the family while sitting behind the steering wheel commuting to an fro. Ahh. Pure bliss.

WOOHOO! Construction fencing all removed. Once again, nice walking at Church and Front. I predict a lot nose prints on that dark tinted glass at sidewalk level in the next little while. ( mine is already there in a couple spots.)

Did you ever want to love something so much, but it pissed you off so much... This one has drove me crazy.. Still does. I almost bought here. I still stare up at the 8th floor terrace corner unit from the park on evenings while my mutt waters the lilies and wonder who bought what I let go...

Has anyone done a floor count on this one? Just wondering if they are close to topping off.

After taking a break for a few weeks the glass started going in again today on the north face.

I think it's to keep the lake out.

Definitely my favorite part of this building. So beautifully recreated. Nothing like a little fresh white paint on the underside of the balconies to gussy up the place.

Thanks so much Wmedia for that. Watching that video was a real treat. From that perspective its mind-blowing to see how much the city has evolved over the past couple decades.
