Brookfield has decided to use white marble as their distinctive "look" in most of their signature office towers on a go-forward basis (note the white marble in the lobby of BAC). I think it's a safe bet that they will keep the interior white marble in the lobby of FCP as well.

Walking by on Bay Street today, I noticed that the bases of the light standards along Temperance have now been clad in grey granite. It looks great.

Are you talking about the "wasps' nest" streetlights? I actually kind of love the look of those lights; the poles, however, are in desperate need of work.

An astroturf park? The small space at Harbourfront was one thing, but coving a portion of a large-scale park in fake turf seems...terrible. My excitment for this new public space is quickly dissipating. *sigh*
