The hotel market seems to be really hot, and it's hard to imagine a better location than this for one, nor better marketing potential for a hotel than to say it's in Gehry's last masterpiece. If I were Great Gulf, I'd be trying to see if I could find a hotel partner and convert a large part of the project to hotel space.
 
It would be amazing it some of the folded cladding hit the ground so we could see it up close, instead of just a flat sheet of glass, which has become endemic.
