I walked by today and noticed that the entrance to the Sheppard subway is opened from Hullmark Centre.

Walked by the site today at lunch and noticed that they have started demolishing the Sheppard subway emergency exit on the property.

There was a gas leak and an Enbridge van came on site. The whole area smelled of natural gas for a few hours. There may have also been a fire as I do remember seeing the firefighters carrying a long hose into the building. The police closed the southbound lanes of Yonge and all of Pontyz south...

I believe the greater concern would be the hundreds of idling buses parked and the exhaust being put into the air.

I do Bloor to Sheppard-Yonge every work day and the trip at the fastest was 18 minutes. Now its at least 20 minutes. Sometimes I do Sheppard-Yonge to Dundas and that trip is about 25 minutes, so Google Maps is right. The 40 minute complaint is valid if you go from Finch to Queen or King, where...

Juliet, I don't think they intended this to be a mall. It is more like a large stacked shopping plaza.

I am so glad I never bought into this development and will avoid all future dealings with this company. With the way they respect their customers in this development, you will see the for sale signs popping up very soon after this development is built.

If the elevated subway is proposed the neighbourhoods along the line will be up in arms against it. Most people there don't want to start hearing trains rumbling in their backyards. The anti LRT group in that neighbourhood wasn't just against LRT, they were against subways too. They didn't want...
