what floor is your unit on system7? have you been in the building yet?
i helped an overseas friend through a purchase in this building and am interested to see how it turns out.
kind of a surrogate ownership.
just looking at the updated Freed main website...
saw a picture in the gallery from the seventy5 portland info page with a pool. is there going to be a pool in this building for real? i didn't see any mention of this listied anywhere in the building features. looks spectacular! but where...
I have experience with both builders. Here's my opinions:
Sorbara has done well with location choices. In addition, 90 Sumach and Broadview lofts were successful because the original buildings were already great shells for conversion. It was great to see that Sixty loft turned out as...
I was walking along King today and I didn't notice any buildings above 4-5 storeys. If Freed is building something higher, how can this pass OMB regs? I'm not doubting it can and may happen, but on what basis can they allow a building to stand twice as high as the rest of the street's line...
This is a great compilation Condo Observer, thanks.
I esp. like the fact that you kept it to a specific category - 2 bdrm, 2 bthrm, 800 sq ft. A 1 bdrm can be tiring.
I don't quite understand the first entry. Is that the correct price for X1 Eames unit on the 30th floor as of summer 09...
I has polished concrete floors before. They were great and very low maintenance. Only concern was closer to the windows, it was very cold in winter. I would get them again if I had the choice and it suited the unit.
DKB, You picked a great layout. The 2nd bedroom is a bit small but I like it as a den or get-away room if you're living with a significant other. It has great seperation from the rest of the condo.
Contrary to cdr108, I think most units in this development are well laid out. Yes, many are...
I see. So you are equating practicality to 1.Re-sellability (hopefully this is the correct word), 2. Accessorizing and 3. Retaining style.
Well, for your first point on re-sellability, this proves what I stated before - brown is a safe choice. I can't refute that more people will be...
I don't think this is a valid argument to counter Urbandreamer's argument. Urbandreamer is trying to say that there are more options than just the common brown scheme and at reasonable prices. You are countering by saying that a brown kitchen is more practical for day-to-day life. What does...
Well, it's a crazy time in the market right now. But this doesn't mean the market will be just as hot in 2 years when M5V is completed. Maybe you can use other in-construction comparable buildings and units instead.
But I agree on your opinion of the finishes in the Hudson...when it was first...
