Ironically, I remember someone at Metrolinx once stating that more weather cover wasn't particularly necessary due to the frequency and reliability of what they were building. In other words, nobody would be waiting more than a few minutes.

It's complicated, but I had to remove all my original posts and hosting of it due to a legitimate threat of being sued. Having said that, it was already disappering on various platforms for many, partiuclarly in the U.S.
I don’t believe Global aired it. My understanding is that they received the original package earlier—likely because NFL football frequently delays the CBS broadcast. However, someone at Global appears to have uploaded that original package, including the spiked piece, to the app today.

Totally. I’ve seen this used as the standard in Europe. First, it shortens dwell times when no one is boarding or alighting. Second, it keeps the vehicle’s climate far better controlled.
No on both accounts. But I believe it was actually The Score/Out-TV who had the space here. Rogers used the CBC for Hockey Night in Canada studio and office space.
