With the ETR having happened, I still think that it would make more sense for the 410 to replace the 403 to the QEW (Oakville) instead of having the interlined bit of the QEW/403 through Halton. The 403 can just be from Burlington to Woodstock.
I think the biggest challenge with recycling, both at home and at processing facilities, is distinguishing between what’s clean and what’s contaminated.

I think they predate amalgamation. Metro never wanted them, but since it wasn’t their roadway, there wasn’t much they could do. It’s strange they’re still there. If enforcement isn’t going to happen, they should probably be removed.
