People will be happy to hear the northbound track as well the road where the southbound track is to place has been excavated up to Richmond. This includes the northbound track north of the new section built last year. Don't expect any track base to be pour this week

It never really worked on the opening days of Line 2 nor will it work today without messing up the Spadina Line service. Lower Bay is used for many things that makes money for TTC which TTC needs badly.
It was quite common that the crossing was blocked as much as 20 minutes or more from my visits over the years. Sometime, a westbound train had to be made up that was on 2-3 tracks to be one long train. At times, shunting was done on the west end instead of the east end.

Beautiful view of the deck and ramp. The area I shot in March that was having hording place to have the deck pour, is now poured.
Several systems that I have seen have sections where batteries are required due to the area and no place to string wires. Nice comes to mind where the plaza area is wire free with the line being wired on both sides of it. It took 10 seconds to convert to either system while stop at the stations...
Does it have overhead, or does it run on battery??
There are tons of examples in Europe where trams run though the city centre with and without overhead like Brampton without any issues

Looks like duct work from the switch to the switchbox still has to be done or for a signal mast that is to be installed where the metal rods(?) are.
Otherwise, it looks the same as I saw it a few weeks ago with work completed on the signal boxes.
