There must be a place in Toronto from which I could a buy a NY Times edition.

Does anyone know where that might be?

And I know that the NY Times offers home delivery but I'm not looking for that type of solution at the moment.

Thank You.

I believe the Globe and Mail publishes that paper in Toronto (but missing sections since it is not the NY City edition) - so they might know where it is available for sale - can't hurt to call them. I use to get the Sunday Edition delivered along with the Globe and Mail the rest of the week.

I know the shop in BCE place carry a lot of different newspaper - so they might not have it.

Unfortunately it is not available through newspaperdirect.com (which I use sometimes for foreign newspapers - print edition - readable online). I just wish all newspapers would just have the option to receive it as a PDF.

I have often seen the NYT for sale at the Shopper's Drug Mart at King and Yonge. The newspapers are by the window after you go through the cash registers.

You can also have it delivered daily in Toronto.

Early on Sunday mornings there used to be a pile of them left outside that coffee shop in Royal Bank Plaza next to the TTC Union Station entrance - people helped themselves.

It's impossible to buy a decent British newspaper anywhere in town these days. The W.H. Smith in the TD Centre, which closed in the mid-'90s, was a wonderful place for foreign papers.

Maison de la Presse on Yorkville Ave should have it.

I usually read the NYT online.

The cheapest Sunday New York Times in the city is in the basement of St. Lawrence market on Saturday--only $5.00!

other places are any Book City, the World's Biggest Bookstore, Presse Internationale, Pages Books, International News, Great Canadian News Company....

I don't really get the purpose of this thread. With practically all of its content free online, I don't see why anyone would buy a NYT, or any newspaper. If you are interested in New York City classifieds, just go to Craigslist and browse the superior listings to be found there for free.

Well, I know a few people that like the book review section (I believe that is the section), unfortunately when I received the Sunday (Toronto Edition) - it was missing - so I could not bring it in to someone that had wanted it.

For me, just give me an ereader with the newspapers and I will be happy....

(still waiting for the ereader that interests me the most - delayed another year :()
