TTC staff will be making a recommendation at TTC March 22 meeting that both TTC and the City of Toronto sign the agreement for building the YORK BRT on York University lands like TTC has wanted from day one.
It was stated at Wednesday meeting that TTC has received the agreement from York and is reviewing it now to make sure all the i' and t's are cross.
This means construction could start late this fall or early next year. This BRT should be up and running for fall 2007 at the earliest at this time.
Most of the construction work will take place on York lands and the Hydro ROW.
