8) wow, going from 0.7 million population to 3 million, some people within the old city won't be too thrilled to hear that.1) High Speed Train from Toronto to Montreal (2 hours), Chicago (3 hours) and New York City (3 hours).
2) Subway on Queen st, College/Calton St and Spadina Ave (hopefully TTC is privatized or the Union is dismissed).
3) Queen's Quay, Bathust St and Jarvis St rezoned to major commercial street/boulevard.
4) Regent Park, Moss Park public housing bulldozed for redevelopment
5) First Canadian Place becomes only the 5th tallest office building in Toronto
6) Gardiner buried between Parliament and Bathust; entire central waterfront south of rail tracks become a huge urban park between Bathurst and Bay
7) Air Canada split into 4 competing airlines
8) Scarbrough, North York and Etobicoke separate from Toronto and become their own city again, yet the City's population rises to 3 million.
3) and 6) Will also have to extend PATH to that new Queen's Quay commercial street.
