Visitors looking for somethign to do

Myself and some friends were going to take a trip up to toronto from nyc for a day just as a spontaneous thing and were looking for anything to do for a day. We will be completely lost and without any preset expectations or ideas and so any suggestions will be nice. We will be leaving from NYC at about
4am and will probably arrive by around noon and will stay for about 10 hours before trekking back. We're a group of open minded people so any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks

Go down Queen Street West and maybe out to the Beaches? You could try the islands if the weather is nice. Yorkville if you're into high-end stuff...

It's an 8 hour drive, BTW, at around 120 kmh or 75 mph with fairly clear border crossings.

Why not stay the night?!
