The original plans for an expanded Union Station streetcar loop was better.

Looks like the fiscal conservatives or penny-pinchers got at it to produce a "lowest bidder" version. Groan.

They definitely need to include an additional entrance/exit when they expand the loop. The current connection to the subway platform is unusable on summer weekends and holidays due to CNE and other event traffic, throughout the year it's quite bad during peak periods too. There's no way they can fit all of the additional LRT passengers in there. The QQE line will become useless throughout the summer.

A direct entrance in/out of Union rail station would be a great idea, as shown in that last image.
