Nice building but Streetcar's customer service is horrible
Been living in the building the last few months, it's nice that they built it so quickly but there's all sorts of problems with the workmanship inside. If you need to get anything fixed, good luck with that, you'll be waiting for weeks just for someone at Streetcar to get back to you. It seems like Streetcar is in over their heads, building more projects than they can handle. Their staff love to pass the buck, or just plain ignore you when something in your unit is not working. If they don't get their act together, soon their reputation will be just as bad as urbancorp. I wouldn't recommend buying from Streetcar unless you have a good lawyer and lots of time to fight them in order to get your unit fixed.
The stainless steel tile backsplash, undermount sink, extended upper cabinets, under cabinet lighting, gas cooking, full size fridge and range... all great features that all developers should offer, but unfortunately don't.
Wandabun, is that a standard kitchen or you had to do some upgrades?
Sorry to necro this thread, but I've been looking at units in this building. They're nice, but does anyone know why the maintenance fees in the building are so high, considering it has few amenties?
They seem to have jumped from arounf $0.50 a square foot to $0.73 a square foot in 2 years, which is a steep climb.
