doesnt matter.... 90% of the screen will be garbage ads anyways... the important parts like date, time and ETA will naturally be tucked away in the corner.

Those have been in some (most?) stations for quite a while.

I was wondering if those new (?) wall panels they haven't turn on at Union were wall panels to show the trains.

Why do you need one screen to do all things?
TransLink has 2 sets of screens on platforms now (2021 upgrades).

April 15
All escalators where running for the Eglinton station including the main Crosstown entrance. Crew cleaning the floor tile at the new entrance from Crosstown main entrance to TTC subway with special cleaning material.

The ceiling for the new access to the Crosstown is complete and looks out of place for the missing area for TTC. The station is badly in need of modernization. New edge going down that is one inch wider that the old one.

No screens for the station that I could see without walking the full length. Access to the tunnel under Yonge is ready to be open. I am assuming the elevators are working that are fence off at this time. There was a major site inspection taking place with many white hats.

We are seeing similar at many stations.

100% advertising? They could do a bit of both - like they do with the Montreal bus shelter walls.

Terrible when an ad space is bigger (and probably brighter and kinetic - thus more eye-catching) and placed right beside information screens. Awful sense of information hierarchy as usual.'
