It that's what Toronto's streetcars really looked like, then we're hopelessly screwed.
Whoa, those look pretty slick. I'm sure it's been discussed numerous times over the years, but how easy/costly would it be to convert these vehicles for high-floor boarding (i.e raise the door, remove the stairs)? Or is that even possible at all? Perhaps these could make good tram-trains for something like SmartTrack or a future RH line, or some kind of future RT line.
The cars belong to a film production company. On that note, a little bit east of St. Clair East and Warden, there's an old H-Series train sitting behind some bushes in a disused parking lot. Look along the south side of St. Clair, and if you have a sharp eye you'll spot it.
I really think it could've worked. Oh well, 4217 looks great anyway. Hope to see it soon out there. Its a shame that they didnt take the chance to rebrand their ALRVs with a new paint scheme similar to the new cars coming in
Still stuck in 1985.....
I would like to see what a PCC looks like in the Flexity scheme. The cars belong to a film production company.

With 504, 505, and 506 all detouring, and Queen narrowed to 1 lane each direction near Jones for track replacement and work at Leslie, it made for a very slow commute.Streetcar collision and derailments at Broadview and Gerrard.

Agree. I'd expect a litany of complaints that the new streetcars have steps, etc.I feel like if the TTC did this it might have a bit of a weird undertones to it.

"See? We have the new streetcars everyone! Look! Nothing wrong with the order..."
Indeed, that's how most people do it. I think the post above was to reference how annoying it will be to have to walk back after taking the shuttle bus. Looks like if I'm going anywhere this weekend, streetcars it is.They could simply walk. It's not that far. About 200 metres or so. About half the walking distance at Union from the Line 1 platform to the Union Pearson platform.
Surely the shuttle bus stops in the station, not far from the streetcar platform in the station. Not much difference than the subway except it's a floor up, instead of a floor down.I think the post above was to reference how annoying it will be to have to walk back after taking the shuttle bus. (I assume it stops there, I've only used that bus platform when there are 510 replacement buses).
