What’s the latest total now? 126/204?
That gets increasingly complicated
Delivered - 4400, 4402-4526, 4528, 4572-73 - 129 cars
Built to less than full spec, not yet delivered as a "complete" car - 4401 - 1 car
Shipped, en route - 4527, 4529
So, 132 in existence, but.....
4 cars off site for rewelding
1 car off site for repairs (flood damage)
1 car off site for final fit-out

From CPTDB. There were 50 ALRVs. Only 8 remain in serviceable shape. There were 200 CLRVs. 89 have been retired. 42 + 89 = 131. There is not even a net increase in vehicles. Just bigger and newer.126 on the roads now but they still can't run any on either the 505 or 506.
Madness.
I have a feeling they'll keep 502, 503 and 505 buses till 2026 when they order more streetcars.126 on the roads now but they still can't run any on either the 505 or 506.

Currently at Broadview, the 504s are all using one (too short) streetcar platform and the 505 buses the other. There's a similar arrangement at Dundas West. There's nothing at either station stopping 505 returning as streetcars.I am not sure that 505 will be a streetcar again for some time. I believe that Dundas West and Broadview can’t handle the larger cars. Each needs a third platform notwithstanding deflecting a large number of car movements to Cherry and Dufferin loops.

CPTBD list has 96 CLRV's scrap as well 36 car ALRV's. Tracker sees only 13 ALRV's and 6 that can be use for service. 4236 shows up at Roncy 19 days ago, with 12 at Russell. 4203, 4204, 4207, 4225, 4226, 4228 are the only cars with current GPS location, with the rest been last seen a week to a month ago.
Don't expect to see any ALRV's in service until the warm weather is here to the point the fleet is already retired.
Since there is a plan on rebuilding Dundas West station and loop, it should be done at the same time as the k/q/q/r intersection is being done. More so, a development should be built over it as part of the redevelopment of the property on the south side.
By scraping the existing fleet sooner, saves money trying to keep them running until 2023, but reduce service level and continue the cattle car loads. Even adding buses to off set the lost of CLRV's, it takes away buses from routes that need more service. Its a no winner for riders.
Wouldn't be surprise to see 505 and 511 remain buses until a new order shows up.
TTC will have 3 more cars on site this week. 4573 is out testing, but GPS is not working for it. No idea if 4525 has done its testing 100%, but been in the service bay since Friday and could see service this week since it arrived one day after 4526.
