I don't know how reverence it is to this topic. The loan is mainly for BBD Areospace which is completely separated from BBD Transportation besides being own by BBD. It has nothing to do with these streetcars at all.

Actually it is not mainly for the aerospace division...it is entirely for that....mostly for the 700 series business jet and a wee tiny bit for the C series.

Yes, it was running up and down College yesterday, pretending to be a 506 (out of service).

That means its about to enter service any day now.
It arrived on Feb 2 and the standard time frame says Feb 11-14 is when you see it in service on 510. Since 510 is looping at QQ-Spadina loop and no 509 streetcar service this weekend, Feb 13 could be the day it enter service, but 11 or 12 would be better.
Haven't follow it since arrival and currently in the X service bay, where they are are just before entering service

The Star reported last week that it should today if it all goes well. I don't know how much delay was added with the Lake Shore tracks being out of service forcing them to use St Clair as an alternative. They might not be able to burn 600km within 8 days.

If it sitting in the east part of the service bay now and was noted on 506 earlier today, it will not enter service today based on what The Star may have said last week. From what I have seen in the past, it can be 1-6 days sitting in that bay area before a car enter service.
With the Lake Shore close for the remainder of the year, a very long section of track with very little traffic is lost for testing and will require a day or 2 more for burn in.

They would be unable to use The Queensway to open up the throttle. Maybe St. Clair... except for the uncooperative traffic signals.

At 12:12 am, 4431 westbound on Queen St at Carlaw Ave with Feb 13 the day it may enter service.
Update:
12:43 am, 4431 turn north on Bathurst St and most likely heading to St Clair for testing.
31 minutes to get from Carlaw to Bathurst at this time of night.

running 504 service, interesting. The 514 seems to finally be getting consistant service with the new streetcars, which I am enjoying.

There is currently 3 running on 504. There were 2 more earlier but has since returned to Leslie.
