It's good to see the dashes showing up! There were the renderings of X2 which did not show them… which triggered me to ask Rudy Wallman whether they had in fact been dropped… and he said 'no, they're still there'… and since that time, it's just been a case of waiting. Here's hoping we end up with as good a building as X, or better.

I'm also very pleased to see the colour slashes too! X2 will only be better because it's higher (there, I said it!), it joins it's beautiful sister across the street, an improved roof and will have an active retail component.

Haha thanks! I'm sure people think I'm quite the geek taking photos of construction sites lol. I got strange looks from people in cars on Charles St.

I have always loved X, so it's awesome that X2 is turning out quite similar. With the extra 5 stories in height, I think it will really pop out! Such a great location to live too, so close to Yonge & Bloor.

Not only is it 5 extra stories in height but also add on about 14ft since the standard unit height is 9'. X was 8' from floors 3-17 and 9' from 18+. Plus it will seem even higher with the fins planned to cover the mechanical.
