Walkman is one of my favorites right now. I love his designs. Better than AA as far as I'm concerned.

It's Wallman, as in Rudy Wallman Architects Inc.

The big pour today. It started at 7:30 am and was still going strong when I came home a little after 8 pm

6:00 on Jarvis Street -

Trucks lined up around the corner on Bloor -

From above (not much to see here really, not high enough up) -

8:00 pm looking east on Charles -

The big pour is still not complete,it is 12:20 am probably a couple more hours before it is complete.

Wow, I have two friends who live next to there, one in Bloor Walk (it's a constant groan of machinery when I was there today, and truck horns honking don't help) and another at 235 Bloor (at Jarvis) on the 6th floor overlooking Jarvis Street and he's been complaining about the noise for four years now since X started going up!

Will there be another big pour or is this it?

Not much to see here, just a pit, but what the hell. These are the two best shots I could get given limited access around the site.

At Jarvis St. facing west -

In the hydro parkette, facing east -

Taken today.

Looking West.

Yes, indeed. Surprising how few updates we get of this rather tall project. I should get my ass over there.

I'm sure once they reach the ground level and higher we will get more update pics. I'm surprised how fast the parking levels went up this summer/fall. Colour selections are also starting this December for the lower floor units.
