Mattamy breaks ground on 3 GTA condo developments

Mattamy Homes’ Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Urban Division officially broke ground on three condominium developments in late January: Westbend on Bloor Street West in Toronto; Mile & Creek in Milton; and Martha James in Burlington.

Work on a geothermal heating and cooling system is to begin soon, and occupancy is scheduled for July 2025.

Pile driver still on site but no "action" yet.
UPDATE: there is some activity there but it doesnt appear to be full on yet.

Overall, I'm looking forward to this project. It could probably be a few stories taller, but the colour and street-level retail presence looks promising.
 
As the work progresses, the incursion on the public space increases. Fences are now being replaced by concrete barriers, pushing further out onto sidewalk and no effort is being made to clean mud from sidewalks.

There was a virtual community meeting to review the site plan and construction management plan last night. Did anybody attend?
