I reckon that staffing hasn't been very extensive or consistent to work on this. There was literally one guy lone-wolfing it on the steel beams earlier this morning. You can see him in the 4th and 5th photo, on the middle component of the new structure.
 
Can someone remind me what this extension will be used for? It doesnt look that large and the ceilings seem quite short
 
This has got to be one of the slowest projects around - the hoarding was up more than 2 years ago and they haven't even finished the structure yet.

And without a real basement on it, and with precast slabs that should (in theory) be speeding up construction. Who's even the GC on this thing? Must be a small player. They didn't even bother putting up any signage on the hoarding. Kind of surprising that an institution as big as UofT wouldn't have procurement rules that would prevent them from contracting a random guy with a truck.
