That's quite the interesting illusion of having two buildings merging together like that. So I'll give 'em bonus points for that...even if it's not my favourite building.

Cityzen and Fernbrook put the remaining land for the last two buildings up for sale last year. Not sure if it was purchased. Anyone able to look that up please?

Queens Quay East is set for a complete rebuild in next couple of years - they are currently working on specs for undergrounding the hydro wiring and, of course, the long-promised LRT is 'coming". It really does not make much sense to plant trees on ROW until this work happens. Pier 21 have actually planted a few (tiny!) trees in front of their building - if we wait 30 years they may be quite large (or dead!)
 
Those balconies start doing things with your eyes if you stare at them long enough... :(
