I did tip as this barista is Scottish and very pleasant and chatty! The restaurant portion is opening in a couple of weeks.

I tip only if the building facade where the resto is located has appropriate colour, texture, fine grain and articulation.

Tuesday, late afternoon. Please excuse the duplication below, but I found the two slightly different perspectives too good to resist. They remind me of the quote:

I think the mechanical penthouse on top really takes away from the building. Are they still planning to clad it? For reference, in the HPA concept for 100 Simcoe they seem to show some cladding on 19 Duncan (which is also an HPA design). Maybe it got VE'd out?

There still seems to be scaffolding around the mechanical penthouse, which makes me think something is still coming.
Perhaps they’ll go for floating glass panels like HPA’s Shangri-La in the same shot, but I think they’ll wrap it in something similar to King Adelaide Centre’s cladding, both buildings had their roofs left uncladded for a bit.
Also that one pane of glass on the podium has been broken for over a year now

Anyone know if they are going to clad the MPH here? It's looks awful as exposed concrete.
