It's been a frustrating 15+ years (roughly when the boom started) continually criticizing what was being built while pushing for better. Toronto is finally infusing beauty, character, and style into new builds and it's wonderful to see. At this rate, I doubt anyone will be able to call Toronto 'ugly' 15-20 years from now.
That may be true in some cases but it still doesn't get rid of all the ugly/bland junk that's been put up over the past decade or so that we're now stuck with forever.

Confirmed by staff on site: The tower crane for Building 'A' is to come down tomorrow.

A milestone for The Well - with respect to their tower cranes, Building 'A' is the first one to 'go topless'.
The GTA, according to our count, will drop back down to 319 cranes from 320, and Toronto itself from 222 to 221.

Pretty impressive to see. The paint is sparkling. Either very new or recently painted. Anyone have an approximate idea of the cost to dismantle a tower crane?

Drives me crazy. My only hope is that new buildings will be nicer and hopefully block out some of the ugly ones. (All those roundish glass ones down by the lake are ones I hate)

Anyone know who the window wall / curtain wall supplier is for the rental tower? I know the Tridel towers on the southern portion are Toro glasswall but not sure about this one
