X still has a lot of height to add. X's mechanical is also the equivilant of one floor taller than Casa

(although compared to BSN's height, Casa comes in at about 147m)

Wasn’t Casa granted a 2 floor height extension? I don’t believe that height quotation includes that extension which would add 18-20ft to it. Making Casa’s real height around 472ft.

It's hard to keep up with all these buildings being granted extra floors and additional height for mechanical penthouses. According to this final staff report Casa was originally 43 storey's, 135m (443 feet).

Who knows, maybe Uptown, Blu and 67 St. Nicholas St. (tee-hee) will end up with some additional height.

-Two concrete trucks on Balmuto Street working away
-More flatbeds of precast arriving

The usual, misleading render-porn had us believe it would be a beige-light brown however in fairness, the showroom model is pretty much spot on.

Sorry for the poor quality photos. My camera died so I'm using a borrowed camera for the first time today that I'm not familiar with until I can decide on & purchase a good Canon or Nikon. Suggestions welcome, please PM me.

Maybe age will make it look better?

Just like people, age usually works the other way!

With Crystal-Grey.....errr I mean....Crystal-Blu turning out to be disappointing in its cladding (I do like the slimness though), I'm hoping that this one turns at least decent (i.e. eye-catching in whatever way possible) so that this area will be more pleasing to the eye.

So, for all you highly knowledgeable people out there: How many of you would want to see the grey brutalist Manulife Building and the grey BMO building (on Bloor) changed to a different color (if possible), and if so, what would your color preferences be? I want the Bloor-Yorkville corridor to look a little less grey. (My disclaimer: I know a bit about the brutalist history of toronto buildings but am curious regardless and am therefore using this forum to express this; please limit the 'hate' mails.) Thanks. :)
