The nature of precast panels over such a large expanse means that even with the finer grain of the brick panels/grout lines, any sort of misalignment of the panel is really visually highlighted. I'm a bit worried about the blank wall now too. This is an example of something that would not be a problem with traditionally laid face brick.
The elevations that feature the "grid" of brick around the windows and inset balconies should be much more successful, as the shorter spans of "brick" (smaller precast panel sizes) will visually downplay any slight misalignment and other defects.

Installation of the windows has begun. They have installed one on the south west corner, and have other areas prepped for installation.

You'd think they would use spacers as a guide while installing to at least make sure they are straight.

More attention should be paid to the corner panels though - the misalignment is far more obvious there.

The colour of the brick changes so much depending on the light. These are all from the same time.
Windows! Hard to tell the colour of the frames. Charcoal? Maybe a raw umber sort of grey brown? Definitely not silver.

This morning I noticed several chunks of brick seem to be chipped off corners of the slabs that are covering the blank wall. Hopefully they have a way of repairing those chips.
In terms of aligning the panels... they seem to be straightening them out as they go. They go on crooked and get aligned later on. (At least for the ones with windows)
