Nice contextual building for that area. Doesn't need to be a masterpiece.

That house at No. 403 may be the last surviving reminder of Bloor's past as a single-residence proto-suburban street.

I believe the Pizza Pizza at the northeast corner of Spadina and Bloor is a severely molested single-residence house. Well half of one anyways. You can't tell from the street but if you walk in behind it is quite interesting.

You can see half of the peaked roof on the satellite view of Google.

EDIT: Oh and this proposal looks as though it will be offensive.

Probably not fair to judge based on a line drawing, but this doesn't show much architectural initiative.

Given that this is Page + Steele, the Washington Generals of architecture, I think it's fair to not give these line drawing the benefit of the doubt.
 
Pretty much INDX meets Success Towers. Dated design featuring generic balconies placements, vertical pre-cast strips, and extended roof line. It's a lazy assembly of repetitive elements from the same old P+S bag of tricks.
 
There is a rendering of this thing on Bloor Street. It is as lame as you would expect from the above elevations.
