Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered, I scrolled up many pages and did not see an answer. Will this tower top out at the maximum approved height, or will we be getting truncated version?

Please, I urge everyone to go to Google Earth and measure the height yourself. Many have already done so, and the height they all came up with is 292 metres. Find out for yourself, don't take somebody else's word for it.FCP is 298
How do you use Earth to measure a given building's height then? Doesn't seem to be an apparent way to do that from a first time visit. Please, I urge everyone to go to Google Earth and measure the height yourself. You're taking Google Earth's "word" for it.Please, I urge everyone to go to Google Earth and measure the height yourself. Many have already done so, and the height they all came up with is 292 metres. Find out for yourself, don't take somebody else's word for it.
This discussion should be moved to a more appropriate thread, as it really has nothing to do with The One.You're taking Google Earth's "word" for it.
That skyline is getting insane now LOVE IT, great shots!!!
Thank you. I was asking this out of curiosity. It was not my intention to derail the thread by doing so, so my apologies for that.First make sure you're in 3D mode. Then click on Add a Placemark. Hold your cursor over the object you wish to measure. The mechanical room of FCP shows me 369 metres above sea level, down at the very bottom right. Move the cursor a little bit to show the height of the main roof. It shows me 363 metres above sea level. That means the Mech. is 6 metres high. Then move your cursor a bit more so it shows the height of the sidewalk beside the tower. This shows me 78 metres above sea level. A quick calculation shows an overall height of 291 metres. That's close enough for a non-expert like myself to say that FCP isn't 298 metres...
The as-built drawings should accurately indicate the height even if the construction crew was totally inept.Wouldn't the architectural drawings accurately indicate a building's height...unless the construction crew is totally inept?
I read that somebody on this site had (access to) some kind of drawings that indicated height. I think it was the guy who posts progress drawings about once a month. The as-built drawings should accurately indicate the height even if the construction crew was totally inept.
In theory these are held by Toronto Building but access is restricted.
Google Earth has some of the most accurate 3D imagery in the world. You're taking Google Earth's "word" for it.
