Oh, that could be, and would make sense! I've only seen the brace in pictures and it didn't look as steep as I'd expected
Doubt it , honestly it is not much weight... Steel is really strong in tension... Look how thin the steel rope on a crane is....Do you think the braces for the residential floors (supporting 6 floors instead of 3 floors) will be thicker?
Interesting platform/decking on the Bloor Street side between the super columns - mezzanine of some kind?
New user; mezzanine... MetroMan back for a second shot?Interesting platform/decking on the Bloor Street side between the super columns - mezzanine of some kind? It looks lower than the next floor would be.
The architectural plans show a small mezzanine on the sixth level but it's on the Yonge side beside the hotel elevators.Nope, not that mezzanine (or user). Just curious what might be happening on that side of the sixth floor...
Can someone link that penthouse tour video again i cannot find it
So has this changed? This is from the latest arch. plans submitted for the current ZBA application.there is no mezzanine on the 6th floor. the doka platforms between the mega columns are a climbing wall system (climbs with the building as it goes up) and are just there for extra storage space / more space for workers.

I can see that on the Yonge side, this looks different. Time will tell…there is no mezzanine on the 6th floor. the doka platforms between the mega columns are a climbing wall system (climbs with the building as it goes up) and are just there for extra storage space / more space for workers.
