I've always wondered if the "taks taks lerch" crudely sprayed upside down from the top of 774 Yonge wasn't just some idiots trying to interpret what the skilled graffiti artist wrote below.

Toronto's Graffiti by-law specifically delineates between 'Graffiti Vandalism' and 'Graffiti Art'; the latter of which may be legal under the by-law.
