it's hard to believe that these 8 columns will be holding a 300m+ building.

I remember the problem with this skyscraper. They had to reinforce the building because they found out it wasn't safe enough and could collapse on the church below !

Nice to see that the older rental stock behind will be completely obscured by this building's podium. Maybe Yonge and Bloor will really gain that premium feel after all this time.I tried to align a pic from @Rascacielo with a rendering and blend. It doesn't line up 100% but still kind of cool.
