Why would they lay fill or aggregate when they are about to drill holes for the columns? Thoughts?
They will lay a bed of aggregate and compact it this will serve as platform for the crane and the caisson drill to move on.
due to their size and wight the equipment will sink and possibly topple if they are on native soil.
 
We were warned about vibrations in our building next to this site that we would start feeling more vibrations as they start to drill into the bedrock this week.
