So bulky and indelicate. I guess it's considered 'good for a rental building' but I am not a fan.
 
Isn't this one of the wildest art installations on a new build in recent memory! Wacky.

It seems like a solid B+ building. Nothing overly daring, solid materials, decent execution, the street level is articulated (though not particularly animated), it's got a few splashes of colour. I wouldn't want a city full of buildings like this, but to fill in a parking lot at Bay and Gerrard we could have done a lot worse. I certainly prefer this to many other buildings that have been completed over the last few years

I've just looked up the public art plan because since seeing those, I've been hoping they are not permanent (the snowman heads look cheaply made to me and too clown-ish for something of lasting significance).…and the plan identifies the area to the east of the entrance alongside the driveway, I assume to help add light and interest in that passageway through the building to Walton Street. (The plan doesn't identify what the art will be, just where it will be.) We shall see…
