Well ain't that something
 
It's not super-exciting, but it's a straight-up Modernist grid that fits well in the area – St Clair & Yonge has always felt like a mid-century city to me, for some reason. I still think it's a bit too tall, mind.
 
I like how the setback segments are coloured, overall it looks like a solid building. Could be quite nice depending on materials.
 
I think it fits in remarkably well. I like the bronze fins on Yorkville - best part of that building - and would be happy to see them repeated here (in a much cleaner looking building, too!).
 
Well we didn't get the much speculated Art Deco styled step backs at The One so WALLMAN TO THE RESCUE!!

The building podium and step back reminds me of the old Toronto Star building at King and Bay.

Overall I do like but the facade and mullion treatment from that render looks a little messy and some cleaning up could definitely help make this a special one
