True- but judging from the actual lack of cutouts in the shear wall for vision glass , I'm actually quite concerned we're going to have like 30-ish floors of black-grey spandrel facing a brand new park that will never be covered up by any other development.

An embarrassment indeed for that area!

The first cladding has appeared on the west face (or perhaps they're testing).

And work continues on the newly constructed west-face additions.

Still dreading how they're going to deal with the non-glass north/south tower elevations, since the renderings pretend it's all glassy.

The elevations have it as one gigantic wall of dark gray spandrel.

My thoughts as well of how it'll turn out- the worse issue is that it'll be facing the new park south.

They really lucked out with the floors of the original tower being steel beams allowing them to add the balconies fairly easily. Quite a few holes have been cut into the concrete walls though. I hope the engineers weren't having off days.
