I believe these will be planters out front.

Noticed the striped fritted balcony glass in a rendering in the RP sales centre.

Guys, is it me or the townhouse is a far cry from the initial render? the condo tower looks good I must say. Town is debatable so far.

Can the developer be on the hook for the change in style?

- the grey bricks in real life is so much lighter
- the light grey bricks in real life is yellow

Structure is in line with the render. But the choice of the brick, and color of the bricks are completely different from the render.

It's different, but not that different, and certainly in line with what was presented in the marketing materials. We've seen far, far more egregious changes on other projects between marketing and execution; I'm not fussed by this one. I actually prefer the yellow to light grey. This town's built enough grey things of late.

Can the developer be on the hook for the change in style?

No, a developer isn't making a substantial enough change to the units by opting for differently coloured bricks: you would have an essentially impossible time in court proving that the colour change had diminished the value of your purchase.

Well, I guess the ne plus ultra of this sort of thing would be the Westside Lofts. The early renderings showed a typically colourful Will Alsop design:

And the final product was, well, not that.

I remember the change in design was very early on. It's hardly a comparable situation.

I think purchasers are far more "selfish". They care more about a walk in closet becoming a regular closet or a vanity sink becoming a pedestal than some coloured mullion caps.
