Yes they know it will sell no matter what so why bother.

I think you can see a bit of the slant going up the western edge in Logan's first pic immediately above. Look closely beginning about 2 floors above where the glazing is installed and you can see the pillars slowly head at an angle as per the renderings.

Initially I had higher hopes for this building, but at least it's not going to block the view of Ice Towers from some points.

I thought it added some needed texture even if the tone is very much similar to the surrounding projects.
