Toronto Telus House - 25 York Street | 136.24m | 30s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

Interesting that this tower is supposed to be home to Telus, which has a warm and fuzzy corporate image with all its animal ads.

Perhaps Telus will consider putting a big screen on its building showing images of fish, rabbits and meerkats.

I love this development so much. I can't wait to see the other materials used for cladding the framed parts, and the black or grey part on the podium.

I just noticed those thin bars supporting the outer fins of cladding. That's a little detail that should give a nice industrial design to the tower.

The glass is very successful pulling a cue from the sky.

This tower is absolutely stunning.

I just realized that it reminds me of the original modernist Sunlife Building on University Ave. beside the Shangri-La site, with its subtly reflective and grey glass and cladding.

WOW .... this really illustrates very well the 'super-reflective' glass on Union Tower (on a lovely day) :D

^ Yes, so clear it's almost an optical illusion. Poor old Brookfield Place is trying to get noticed down in the corner there... nobody pays her any attention anymore haha.
