Haven't miss a thing for this site and hasn't move much since my last visit. New sign up for change and no pubic meeting date yet. Hasn't been the easy site to shoot since day one.

What about those buyers who thought they purchased a penthouse unit?
I have a relative who bought a penthouse unit at the project launch. Over the years they were offered to back out of their purchase with a small compensation, but they love the location, unit and building which was supposed to be their future home. Oddly enough, the developer also offered a $10k credit towards upgrades due to the delay which is nice gesture from Phantom but doesn’t make sense as they are losing money with all the units pre-sold at 2016 prices. The building would have been completed by now and they haven’t even received any notice about the potential floor additions yet.

With condo developments adding extra floors later on, in many cases, these additional floors would be added half way up the building, with the units on top half being bumped up higher. The developer would sell the units on these floors and sometimes offering existing purchasers the option to change floors if they wished.

There has been a couple of other developments in the area that has experienced extreme delays, including the Teeple-designed Six25BV which was cancelled in 2019 and was later redesigned by G+C with two more floors added (will be launching this spring). Progress on the Bayview Village shopping centre redevelopment with condo towers across the street has been extremely slow as well.

This project is at a snail pace and only visit it when I feel like it because of it.

The project is still partly below grade with another section at grade and another starting on the 3rd floor.

Normally a building sees a floor a week depending on size and shape, but this will not see it happen at all. The building is 14 floors and that should be about 3.5 months to being top off around mid Sept and will say late Nov if then at the current rate.

Is is the slowest project that I have seen to date and be lucky to be top off by year end for a 14s building.

Some buildings put up a new floor once a week. This development has a "new floor once a season" groove to it.
This thread started in 2012, so "once a season" is generous.
