I really hope we get those colourful balconies. Friday Harbour is turning out to be a very unique and appealing community and destination with its walkable built form, density, waterfront location, and mix of uses.

As it stand, it appears they're planning to use iridescent glass for the balconies. And vertical positioned flood lights that will show up obnoxiously for miles around under foggy, snowy, rainy or insect swarmy nights...

...it's my hope of whatever jurisdiction this falls project under will ask the developers here to mercifully axe the latter.
