BREAKING NEWS (literally)
Due to technical failure, causing a window to shatter, Adelaide Street has been closed off in front of the Trump Tower. This has resulted in the Bay Adelaide Centre to shut all entrances to the southwest lobby of the Bay Adelaide Centre, as glass and debris has strewn across Adelaide Street.

It's breaking news on CP24.

It doesn't surprise me considering the shitty cheap glass they've used on this building.
 
So presumably this was someone's hotel room... did they throw a refrigerator at the window or something?
 
that doesnt look just like glass falling that looks like someone or thing smashed the glass
 
On CP24 they show a video with a large pane of glass missing on the south side of the building (trump is to the left of scotia plaza and to the right of FCP) but the reported glass break is on the north side of the building (as seen in the CTV Chopper footage - which by the way is an awesome view of the downtown core and Trump itself). Interesting to see that there are two panes missing on different areas of the tower... wonder if this is related or what's going on here....
