There's a Zellers in the Lawerence Square (walking distance from Lawerence West Station)
Does the SRT count? There's a Walmart at Scarborough Centre.

It's called Bloor-Yonge, isn't it? (ie Bloor, if you're on the Yonge line and Yonge if you're on the Bloor line).
It's not a fully functioning airport, it's only used for testing of Bombardier planes. The plant provides valuable jobs to the community but I do believe that it's days are numbered there as all of the plans for Downsview Park that I've seen have the runways removed and or paved over for pedestrian/vehicle use.

That would be great for cars. Not so much for the new Sheppard West/Downsview Park subway station.I'd imagine they would straighten sheppard and pull Dufferin through if they remove the runways.
I haven't seen any plans with the main runway removed or paved over for pedestrian/vehicle use. The plan above shows it there, the city master plan shows it there, every plan I have ever seen shows it there.
As active runways or simply "here's a paved piece of land that used to be a runway but since there isn't an airport here anymore it's just for community use."?

Interesting retail around the future terminus of the spadina line.

I'd like to see more big box retail near a subway station. People find a way.
