Toronto skyline

I think it may be the twin tower mania in southcore that causes that. doesn't look like they're planning to change direction anytime soon either, with harbour plaza and one yonge coming, both of which will have twin towers.

Twins are fine as long as they are not all the same size as their neighbours.

Wow, that last shot by sMT is amazing, Once this current building boom is over I'd like to buy a super high quality print from that vantage point.

Thanks. I am hoping that vantage point will still be available once the boom is done, but it is unlikely. It is a model penthouse and both times I have been up there (once in February and again in August) were for promo events. The thing will eventually be sold and once that happens all we will have is past photos to compare with other similar angles from other people.

Riverdale Park

I love the views from Riverdale Park especially at sunset!

Annnnnd welcome to the forum!

Hell of an entrance, great shots.

Hey thanks! I've always been an urbantoronto.ca fan, but only just signed up. I look forward to sharing more photos of the many development projects in and around the city!

If you can ever get onto the roof top of Palace Place, the view is almost identical. It's an amenity space/party room for the building, so though you need a fob to get up there, it's not like having to walk into somebody's apartment.

I took these back in June 2010:

The skyline view from the Humber Bay area is great, except for that white-brick apartment tower in Parkdale with black balconies. Its most prominent angle on the skyline is probably seen from Humber Bay. Unfortunately, it's lousy in terms of architecture. I wouldn't mind seeing it demolished.

I don't recall ever seeing this one before - 1929, before the Bank of Commerce tower.
