Toronto ROQ City | 113.48m | 33s | Tricon | Hariri Pontarini

The difference in a week. First two pics are from July 10, the last one is from today.

Tricon is now calling this "The Garden District" which, uh, isn't that already used for a place quite a ways from here?

Seems like Tricon may have had enough of us slagging on the former (possible) name, and have now labeled this as "ROQ City" on their website:

Ah. Took me a minute to see that's "Richmond Ontario Queen"

Because this a rental - and given some of the others in their catalog - and generally speaking the high quality of most purpose built rentals over the last few years - I have high expectations here !

What a great (dense) shot .... capturing 7 u/c projects in one frame to boot. 🙃

This seems like another good time to add another shout out to Hariri Pontarini Architects ... remaking yet another large block of the city (The Well, Pinnacle One Yonge, 88 Queen, Artists’ Alley, misc towers like 19 Duncan etc. all under construction… and one day the massive Canada Square/2180 Yonge redevelopment).

Glad you call Toronto home.
