It's great to see Halford Avenue's brick pavement in that first shot. It looks great, though the abrupt replacement of the traditional bricks with modern concrete bricks at the intersection is disappointing.
Love the shade of red brick here and they almost got the design right but then ruined it with those cheesy balconies and stone-look ground floor cladding--why can't we have the red brick continue from top to bottom?
It doesn't look to have any relationship with the unusual ravine landscape of the area in that photo and stands out harshly. Landscaping with a lot of trees might soften its presence over time, which would be a good thing in this case.
