It looks like the tower will be recessed much further back from the Concourse Building facade than depicted in the renderings. I wonder if there will be enough room for one of the west facing eagles at the top to return:

I wish that Eagle in the top right corner of the western facade would be incorporated in a similar manner but according this database image of the new building, it will not...

It doesn't look any more recessed than the images released by the developer. There's definitely no room for that eagle, unfortunately.

Isn't the tower at the TD Centre housing the Design Exchange already named the Ernst & Young Tower?

The names of the towers around the TD Tower changed to East, West, North, South a year ago.

I don't believe that they've moved. They are supposed to occupy this building but clearly it's not fit for occupancy.

I think they are more a representation of our natural wildlife rather than a statement of empire, but that's just a guess of mine. If I'm not mistaken the Concourse Building's motifs are meant to reflect on Canada and its industry.

I'm sure you are correct Can Cho. Unless, that is, it represented Canada's imperial dominion over the western territories of North America. In any event, the symbol is so steeped in Imperial tradition that to simply say that it is wildlife doesn't fly for me. This specific example is just too much like the Nazi symbol for my taste. Maybe I'm oversensitive.

They weren't eagles, they were thunderbirds. I believe they will be finding a home in the public spaces of the new tower.
