Toronto Q Tower | 197.4m | 59s | Lifetime | Wallman

Signature space? A wedge site between Waterclub and the Gardiner.

Blaming the city? Planning saying too tall is not a reason for a developer to cheapen the design. As we all should know developers do not stick to artistic visions when the zoning process bends over for them.

Let's remember what the city rejected because it was too tall and shadows forcing the new shorter blander design

Looks like various permits have been applied for and are in various stages of approval process. But the City website seems to have just been updated recently since the permit application dates are showing earlier in 2024.

Demolition of parking garage seems to be pending also.

Shoring permit application is under review. Foundation and Structure permit applications were submitted but not yet started.

Out of all the new buildings going up, I was hoping more then anything for a good one here as I really wanted a nice building to block those water club buildings as they are two of the ugliest buildings in the city. Was really hoping for something more than mediocrity here.

Funny thing is, this build is going to be far uglier than WaterClub.
