Very interested in the race between "Pinnacle One Yonge" and the "One" for Canada's first super tall. Have either of them surpassed the 300M mark as of yet?, and who is ahead?

Nope. And The One will likely reach that mark first. It won't be the tallest though at the end of the day.

Phase 3 (the 92-storey supertall in pre-construction on the north parcel) has had a SPA resubmission with some tweaks.

Height fanboys will rejoice due to a 90 centimetre increase from 306.8m to a new height of 307.7m. With a grade of 76.8m above-sea-level, the top of the parapet is now proposed at 384.5 above-sea-level, note that we do not consider non-static elements like the building maintenance unit in building height.

Additional changes include 11 more affordable rental units and 28 more vehicular parking spaces as well as a minor GFA redistribution & unit mix redistribution.

And people where saying the current market was going to make the 3rd tower stumpier... 🙀

I will still maintain that if Pinnacle wanted to shoot their marketing team in the foot and go higher I wouldn't complain I really like the design of the third tower I think menkes should definitely try their best to consult with Pinnacle in order to Make sugar wharf two complimentary but asking developers to work together that's probably a lot in Toronto

I'm surprised to see work on the adjacent park started so early. Given that this lot was a pile of dirt until like 2 weeks ago I didn't expect to see landscaping like this for a long time. Does anyone know what this park will be called or have any images of it's design?

I don't think they have decided on a name for the park yet, but it is going to be a public park, rather than a privately-owned one. It is being constructed as part of the Sugar Wharf phase 2 project; here is a post in the relevant thread from earlier today that may give an idea as to what it will look like:

Overall the plans for this complex are amazing as i've mentioned before in the past, but the more I look into this, the more I believe Phase 3 should have it's podium reduced in size.

Especially when we compare it the Phase 1 and 2 podiums, and (to a certain extent) the neighboring development which will no longer have towers fronting Lake Shore. It looks almost comical how overbearing the Phase 3 podium looks and it's just blocking the amenities on the two previous phases.
