Sorry, when you say second tower crane, the first one you're referring to is the one on Phase 1 crane, right?

I think “second” applies to the tower not the crane. So it is first crane for the second tower (don’t know if there will be multiple cranes or just this one.)

I have the habit of asking silly questions of what I don't know, likely to the annoyance of a few members here. In the end though, when I do get the answers, I feel much more enlightened about what's going on as a whole. So never be afraid to ask.

I am quite certian this will pass The One unless something drastic changes over there. Is it bad that I'm more excited for this now than One Bloor? Cuz I'm definitely more excited for this right now.

I mean, it took the Phase 1 tower from Oct 2018 to July 2019 to go from crane erected to reaching at-grade. That's 9 months for The One to complete the majority of the complicated pours and move onto the more repeatable floorplans. I'd wager The One reaches 100 metres by the time One Yonge gets to at-grade.

Though, it would've been fun if the competition was a lot closer! 2 supertalls rising in Toronto at the same time, who would've thought!

Looks like the crane base has been poured. Depending on the size of the crane it could be erected in a day or two with a full crew. Sometime they wait weeks to let the concrete cure in the base though

I honestly don't see any differences between this building and Maple Leaf Square in terms of architecture
