As the building becomes more of a part of the neighbourhood - I find myself wondering about how better it would look with all the hydro lines buried
Buried hydro wires should be a UT drinking game.

This is really frustrating to look at, because for a data centre this should be quite boring but it looks so smart. The frustrating part is that this is how the Canary District should have looked. The red tones are so warm and welcoming and look awesome even in a dreary winter's day vs. the awful and depressing grey they designed an entire neighbourhood around.
Awesome photos today, Marcanadian!
Funny how an irrelevant data centre can have better details than 95% of the buildings going up in the city.

Seems like a waste to not put some form of housing above? Whether it be social housing or a condo.
They wanted to build very fast to meet a client's needs and they build "as of right' so did not need to get permissions or zoning changes for more height or density. The approvals were very fast because of this and the building looks amazingly good.I was going to say seems like a waste to not put some retail on the ground floor.
